I have been in the java biz for some time now. I started at Luz Coffee, good ol' Mom and Pop coffee shop in downtown Phoenix, till it was sold to a corporate hungry team of investors. So I told them, "If I wanted to work corporate, I would work at Starbucks"! Which is exactly what I did. From May 06 I have been a Barista, Learning Coach, Coffee Master, and now a Shift Supervisor. I feel that I can bring my knowledge of coffee to an exchange because I am just full of facts, not just in Starbucks, but the coffee and the regions it's grown.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

I want to travel to Africa or Central America to meet the farmers and learn some things from them. If I stick with Starbucks I may sought a position as one of the Master Roasters. I want to put my own spin on the Starbucks Roast.

About Me:

I'm Paul. I'm a 2+ year partner @ Starbucks Coffee. Before that I worked for 1.5 years @ Lux Coffee, Mom & Pop Shop. I have an endless supply of coffee knowledge from Starbucks. Not only do I know Starbucks' methods of coffee, I also know the single coffee shop method as well. Freshly Roasted Coffee is what I love and I hope to one day be a Master Roaster for Starbucks, maybe get a chance to put my spin on the Starbucks Roast. I also have plans to maybe open my own coffee shop! Name still to be decided...
