Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I have a strong corporate background. I have been responsible for $60M dollar budgets, negotiated and executed multimillion dollar contracts and have managed multi year projects and various teams. I bring these skills to my role as owner/operator/barista of our little coffee house in Clackamas OR. I am really just learning about coffee. I've been full time at my shop since December 2011, so almost a year. I can make a delicious cup and most of the time, I can make a nice heart. I still struggle with the intuition of setting your grind; it takes me longer than it should. I am still learning about industry accepted issues like some pastry waste is inevitable and is an accepted part of marketing costs. I have so much to learn and really, know so little. BUT, I am excited to learn more!!!
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Any!
