Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
Currently I work at two coffee shops. I have worked at one for five years and the other for one year. I enjoy working at both of them very much. They are both very different from one another so it makes my job very well-balanced. I have always enjoyed working at coffee shops. Over the years I have met the most amazing people through this industry, whether they are co-workers or regulars, and I hope to continue to be involved in this coffee community for a long time.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I am a very open-minded individual, so I am interested in traveling to many places. I have traveled and studied abroad in the past, so traveling to new places is something that always interests me!
About Me:
My name is Rachel and I was born and raised in the west side of Cincinnati, OH. I am currently finishing my two degrees at the University of Cincinnati which are in Secondary Education and Spanish. I will (hopefully) be graduating in December '09. I love studying languages, traveling, music, and the arts. Ideally, I want to open up a coffee shop in the near future, even though my degrees are far from my dream! I want to learn everything there is to know about the coffee world and share it with others by creating a communal space for people to relax, converse, connect, and reconnect with themselves and others.
