    no

Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

We are primarily coffee roasters who became trained as baristas to help evaluate our coffee's. We began running a outdoor coffee bar at the local farmers market to get the brand known and we LOVE it. My wife and I are both certified baristas.

    Spain, Italy, Costa Rica, India

    About Me:

I am a former glass artist who did the art show circuit for 18 years. I /we ( my wife and myself) became hooked on home roasting about seven years ago when one of my wife's students shared it with us. We quickly knew that this was our "next"adventure.

    About My Company:

Flying Rhino Coffee and Chocolate began in the fall of 2005. We were, and still are dedicated to small batch ( less than 20 pound roasts) roasting. We wholesale the brand to a number of local specialty stores and coffee shops along with our own shops. We have a mobile coffee bar that we use for functions and events including the Toledo Farmers Market every Saturday. We also have a small coffee and chocolate bar located in the foyer of a prominent restaurant located along the Maumee River looking across to Downtown Toledo. Yes we also make a line of high end chocolate. Mostly chocolate truffles, but also turtles, salted caramels, dipped pretzels, and whatever else....

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

The dedicated people who want, encourage, help, you to survive.
