We own a drive-thru. It's been open for over 2 years. Our shop is growing slowly.

About Me:

Hello. My history is in farming. I raised almonds in CA along with laying hens. We moved to Indiana in 1988 and I raised market hogs. Since I've enjoyed coffee for many years I was intrigued by the business and decided to open a shop here. Marcia and I have been married for 35 years and have 3 children. We also have 10 grandchildren!

About My Company:

I started out with a license agreement for our Java Jo'z. Two weeks after we received our building, the parent co was out of business. We are still learning the drive-thru business and growing. I track our new customers/day and it is close to 5/day ave. A friend and I have a small roaster (5lb) in a shop at home.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

I love meeting and interacting with people! Fun to work in something that you really enjoy!
