Still new to the trade at this point. Still focusing on shot/milk consistency and basic espresso art; I pulled off a decent Rosetta today.

About Me:
I'm 34, I've done a little bit of everything at this point in my life. Currently, besides my growing passion for being a barista, I play jazz and blue grass and am looking to buy an upright bass in the near future.
About My Company:
My fiance and I are have been working our tails off starting a coffee shop here in the DYT. Our concept is to provide not just a coffee shop, but to create an "import house" kind of feel by working with multiple roasters. I might be mistaken with this concept, but I feel roasting technique has just as much influence on the flavor of a coffee as the region in which the coffee was grown. Either way, The Ohio Coffee Co is opening in mid August and we're excited to be a part of the coffee trade.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
It's just fun.
