Sova Espresso & Wine is a 4 month old coffeehouse, wine bar and art space (about 2,200 sq. ft.) in a uber hip area of DC called the Atlas District, just off Capitol Hill. We have a 3 group La Marzocco FB/80 semi-auto, a Fetco double batch brewer, Mahlkoenig grinder, and two Mazzer grinders. We serve Intelligentsia coffees and Rishi teas.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
All of the African coffee growing countries, New Guinea & Indonesia. I've already been to a number of central and south american countries.
About Me:
I'm a former Stock Broker/Financial Planner who decided to get out of the suit and tie, and follow my passion of starting a business I would love to work at 7 days a week if I had to. I've loved the whole independent coffeehouse scene for a number of years, and I'm also a wine enthusiast. This is much more my calling than following any sort of index or tracking any type of security. While I work my ass off since we're new, I couldn't think of anything I would enjoy more.
