Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I've been a barista since I was 16, and have since worked for two different coffee houses. Besides running a espresso machine, I have background knowledge in coffee types as well as coffee shop maintenance and latté art.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Anywhere and everywhere. I love to travel and try out locally owned coffee shops!
About Me:
I am currently a student at Indiana Wesleyan University, graduating this April (2011). I have worked at McConn Coffee Shop, our only on-campus coffee shop, for the last three years as a barista and loved every minute. Also I currently returned to the United States from a study abroad semester in Italy where I was able to try some of the finest espresso I've ever had while enjoying/ observing how this culture has, in a way, built their days around there morning, afternoon, and evening espresso breaks.
About My Company:
McConn coffee is a student run coffee shop and currently is being supplied through Dillano's Coffee roaster in Washington. McConn coffee was effectively places in the heart of campus, and thus provides a great get-away and steady pulse to running stream on campus.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Coffee has a strange power to connect strangers and provide instant comfort.
