Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I have been a coffee enthusiast for quite some time. I recently completed an intense five-day barista workshop with the American Barista & Coffee School in Portland, Oregon. I am not a professional barista but I am well familiar and competent at brewing most pour over methods of coffee. I am most passionate about espresso and work daily on my barista skills. I am comfortable operating a commercial espresso machine, steaming milk, and producing basic latte art.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

I would like to spend more time visiting cities with with strong coffee culture (preparation and roasting)in the U.S. I would also like to visit Australia, Korea, and Japan. Visiting coffee producing countries, meeting coffee farmers and people at the origin is another major interest. Lastly, even though Italy seems to be not in vogue these days, I would still like to spend more time in the cradle of espresso :)

About Me:

I come from a culture in which the ritual of making and sharing coffee is the cornerstone of most interactions. I've always had a deep passion for coffee itself and how it brings people together. After many years, I feel like I need to be closer to coffee and interact with it on a full time basis.
