Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I have worked for three years as a barista during my college career.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
In Africa, I am interested in traveling to Kenya. Kenyan coffees tend to be my first choice and I want to get the opportunity to visit the farms. In South America, I'd like to visit Guatemala.
About Me:
I was born in raised in Washington, south of Seattle next to the Puget Sound. I attended George Fox University in Newberg, OR and I have come to love Portland during the four years of my enrollment. It was also during my college career that I decided I wanted to find my way into the coffee industry. I have had a love for coffee since a very young age and I have only more recently begun exploring all the industry has to offer. I do a little bit of home roasting and I love to experiment with a variety of brewing methods. I hope to gain an active role in the industry
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
I love the converdstion that coffee helps to facilitate. In my mind coffee is the perfect medium for either catching up with friends and/or have lively and meaningful conversations.
