Boxwood Coffee shop & Cafe is a 2nd wave style coffee shop within Mission Point Resort or Mackinac Island. The shop itself offers a variety of standard coffee styles, as well as grab and go style deli items which are prepared by the barista staff, and on site baking crew. We operate a Rancillio Classe 10, which is a standard volumetric machine, and would require the barista to be able to make grind adjustments, pull shots, & steam milk.
About Me:
I've been in F&B for 10 years. In that time, I've had the privilege to work in several 2nd, and 3rd wave shops. Most recently, I've taken on a less coffee focused role in the hotel industry. Boxwood Coffee Shop represents my interpretation of proper coffee service, that also fits the needs of our visitors on the island, and in a resort setting.
About My Company:
Mission Point is a seasonal Resort on Mackinac Island in Michigan. Our season ranges from The end of April, to the end of October.
