My barista skills are at the "drinkable, occasionally sort-of-servable" level, but the baristas who work here totally kick ass. I'm good with drip coffee!

I'm the owner of a new coffee shop in Portland's Hollywood District. I'm passionate about good coffee and chocolate and also about world trade issues.

Aliviar Coffeehouse is located at 1737 NE 42nd Avenue, between Broadway and Sandy. We serve Batdorf & Bronson coffees, Intelligentsia teas and Chai and a small variety of ethically traded, organic chocolates. We also carry subversive literature, local artwork and indie music.
