Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I started off as a home barista and general coffee & tea enthusiast but after not being able to find stable employment after college I found myself as a barista at Peet's Coffee & Tea in the SF bay area. I was so happy to learn so much so quickly and now five years later I have found myself employed as a barista at one time or another (in one country or another) at 4 different coffee shops of varying quality and focus. I am of course happiest on bar because I feel like I can express my personality through the way I dial in the espresso and present my drinks but am at home anywhere in the coffee shop.

All of them.

About Me:

Currently pursuing my MA in musicology, on the side my boyfriend and I have just begun a "coffee appreciation" club, meaning an excuse to share coffee with others in our new town, Bloomington, Indiana.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

My favorite thing about the coffee industry is that it is continually growing and evolving.
