Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
Our shop is a roastery/cafe and I'm lucky enough to work on the bar and as a coffee purchaser. We're busy enough to keep from clock watching, and slow enough to know everybody who comes in the door. Just about perfect, really.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Japan, the UK, Ireland, India, Mongolia, Sweden, Finland, Denmark.

I took a degree from the University of Victoria, but decided I'd rather work in coffee than go into my field. I'm also a SF writer (with a nom de plume) and giant-sized geek. Now if only I could dance and sing…

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Getting paid to taste coffee. I mean, seriously. Who has a job like that?
