TANNER GRANT SWICK 4644 NE. 25TH Avenue Portland OR, 97213 Tel: (661) 317-1610 Email: judy108@live.com OBJECTIVE : To provide any service and/or skill that I can, to share and support the knowledge which I have absorbed. WORK HISTORY Nov 2009 to Bakery Team Member, Barista May 2010 Whole Foods Market Portland, OR. 97210 Whole Foods market is on a much larger scale of organic, local, and global trade than any other co-op market in the United States. My goal was to positively maintain that dominance by any means necessary within my department. I began working as a Bakery Team Member and progressed into a barista position in the newly established mezzanine cafe in the downtown store. I was proudly described as the most flexible team member within the department. My daily schedule never sank into monotony and rather did the opposite because I acknowledge the fact that work needs to be done when I am on the clock. There is a huge responsibility functioning as a key component in such a high volume distributor and conduit that people tap into to provide healthy, natural products to themselves which I enjoyed very much helping to sustain. - Cash register trained June 2007 Barista To Mama Hillybean’s Coffee and Community Aug 2009 Tehachapi, CA. 93561 Mama Hillybean’s was inspired, and centralized around the ideology of fair trade, organic and vegan friendly dining as well as providing a sanctuary to all who desired a free platform for progressive, individual and communal creativity. I assisted in it's initial conception and establishment throughout enjoying every day that I was able to be a part of a very important movement in Southern California. Customer service wasn't so much the name of the game even though I became extremely capable of making sure that every patron, guest, family member and/or friend was fully satisfied, there was more of the effect of a fully functional extended family that created and aided in honest activity within and outside the community we lived in. From hosting music festivals to weekly open mic's and a monthly farmers market, everybody including myself loved the impact Mama Hillybean's had the privilege to make. ● Fast high volume service exp. ● Food and drink prep. ● Planning and management exp. ● Open to close store maintenance exp. EDUCATION Aug 2008 Orange Coast College To Costa Mesa, CA Jun 2009 Art I received training and education in various visual art techniques such as sculpture, painting and screen printing.
