About My Company:
The Cake Bar has over the last 6 years grown from a stand-alone, independent cafe focusing on mainly cakes and custom cakes to now having the vision of becoming Zambia's premier chain of cafes and coffee shops, of being the place to have consistently excellent coffee made by our well trained and passionate baristas, and at the same time serving our clients an innovative cafe fare and freshly baked cakes and other desserts. We currently operate four branches with three more scheduled to open in 2018, and with firm intentions of expanding to other towns in 2019 and beyond. From no employees to now sixty, we are investing in training, empowerment and growth for our people. We're small. But we have big dreams.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Locally, that the cafe culture is growing, and that more and more Zambians are embracing the café as the place to work, play and relax while enjoying an excellent cup of coffee.
