About Me:
The Garden Store & Café offers a blend of great tastes and a living atmosphere. Our menu consists of gourmet specialty coffees and iced drinks, locally made desserts, and a small selection of in-house made sandwiches (see our Online Menu). The café borders a gift shop on one side and a solarium overflowing with plants on the other, creating a one of a kind garden setting. During the summer months, we serve authentic gelato and offer outdoor stone patio seating amongst our patio gardens. We believe that every little bit counts, which is why we are proud to serve several certified organic and fairtrade flavour syrups, along with several direct-trade, rainforest alliance certified coffees. These measures, along with our self-serve used coffee grind pickup program, are our way of promoting social accountability and the responsible use of our environment. The Garden Store & Café hosts monthly coffee house concerts, typically featuring local jazz, folk, and bluegrass artists. Concerts take place on Saturday night ofter close, and when there isn't a concert going on you can rent our facility on Saturday evenings for a birthday party, meeting, or other special event. We are located just one mile west of Steinbach on the 52 Highway, across from the RM of Hanover building.
