Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
My Shop: Conservatory for Coffee, 10117 Washington Blvd in Culver City. Great specialty coffee vibe, the first thing you see when you walk in the shop is the roaster making all the beans we sell in the shop. AJ, the leader of our fine establishment, has been roasting for 15 years, so the roasts are excellent. He also trains all the baristas in Latte art and everything else. Pretty much every barista has a signature pour, mine is a tulip, which is consistent at three layers, but I'm working on being consistent at four. But my biggest love is a perfectly brewed well balanced cup of joe.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Anywhere, but I'd love to go to Greece, Italy, and Israel next.
About Me:
Spend my days teaching piano, making coffee, and studying my Bible. I direct the music at my church, teach the Jr. High kids, and do one on one counseling with folks.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
I like to see how our relentless curiosity about coffee brings us together, excites us, and always leaves us with more questions.
