About Me:
I am a happily, caffeinated, married father of two who regards roasting coffee as my way of expressing and sharing my artistic side. The son of an Aeronautical Engineer (part of the design team for the Apollo program) I have inherited the same desire for exactness and perfection - both of which are reflected in the coffees I roast. I is really for the love of roasting and sharing excellent quality, fresh-roasted coffee that I do what I do.
About My Company:
Grains of Sense is a family owned and operated micro-roaster based in beautiful, rolling hills of the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. Our commitment and focus is for coffees that are sustainably grown, Rain Forest Alliance Certified and/or Fair Trade Certified.
