My husband and I have a small coffee shop in West Seattle called Red Cup Espresso. We have been working toward sustainable operating practices for a while. We have a solar array on our roof top that offsets about 20 percent of our energy usage. We offer incentives to drivers of hybrid and electric vehicles, and an incentive for people to "BYOC".
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I am interested in traveling to just about every place I don't live.
About Me:
I have never felt so comfortable and happy in any other job. Although running this shop can be overwhelming at times, it feels right to be doing this. I enjoy making coffee and the culture it has created. I love the interactions with my customers. I have met many wonderful people thanks to coffee. I become more certain each day, that this is meaningful work.
