Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I worked for Caribou Coffee for a few years as a Supervisor and a Trainer. I taught coffee basics and equipment. Then I designed and built a coffee shop in Ann Arbor called The Common Cup for a non-profit. We turned a moldy 1930's church into an amazing coffee shop. We used Ugly Mug (Ypsilanti) Coffee and Espresso. I left the industry to go into event planning two years ago, but recently picked up a consulting gig for a shop opening in Warren called Gizzi's.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

I love traveling and would jump at the chance to go to any country of origin, but I would most like to go to Peru and the island of Java!

I am 32, single and work as an Event Planner. I plan conventions and conferences all over the state of Michigan.
