Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I start my career as a barista in the same coffee shop I now help manage. I've had opportunities to train with and work alongside three different local coffee roasters including Café D'arte, Herkimer, and Venia. Outside of my experience at the coffee shop, I've had a couple opportunities to apply my skills as a barista such as catering a wedding with specialty coffee beverages and representing one of our roasters at Seattle Coffee Fest by serving and sampling out espresso.

About Me:

My long-term career goal is to work in the recording industry as a sound engineer. In the mean time I've enjoyed these past three years working in the coffee industry, and looked forward to several more as I continue to save and support myself through my college education.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

Free-pouring latte art, being hyped up on caffiene, single-origin Brazilian roasts
