About Me:

I have spent 40 years in the music business. I have earned a living both on and off the stage. I am a concert tour and production mgr., a musician, songwriter & producer, and I also manage the legendary jazz-fusion band, SEAWIND. I have an amazing 19-year-old son (James "Ming" Johnson) who is currently a sophomore at Stanford University (and also a huge coffee enthusiast). My son and I are avid fans and supporters of Doi Chaang coffee and the Doi Chaang Akha farmers in Thailand's Golden Triangle region. I maintain a home in both Northern Thailand and America and speak Thai & English. I am a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Shorinji Kempo Zen martial arts and I trained for 9 years with the late Zen Buddhist Priest, 7th Dan, Hall of Fame Master, Rev. Toshio Kuramoto. I am a life-long non-smoker, never been arrested and drug free. I am trying to do my part to help promote world peace, harmony & justice, by being a living example. All life on this planet is inter-connected. The sooner we all learn and fully understand this, a better place the world will be for EVERYONE.
