Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I started my coffee life in a chain restaurant called giraffe, i had basic training and learnt a bit about the grinder and extraction. but i wanted to know more so i went to the union roast roastery in bromley (london) and did 2 months of training there, learning about roasting, upkeep of machinery, tasting espresso and beans as well as a bit of latte art. i then found about stickybeaks opening up and decided to take what i knew to a local and independent business. at stickybeaks we specialize in great coffee, friendly and personal service and homemade food: everything you see apart from the bread is made in store by the staff. our cakes always go down very well and we do lunch from 12 changing the main dishes and salads everyday. the owners also do outside catering and cookery demonstrations. we worked alongside darlingtons coffee company who provided our mazzer grinder, la spaziale machine as well as our coffee which is an Indonesian pacifica blend. any thing else you would like to know follow the links. http://www.stickybeakscafe.co.uk/ http://darlingtonscoffee.com/ http://www.facebook.com/pages/Stickybeaks-Cafe/130548533631184
