Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I work at Java Jamboree in Cochrane, AB. It's a small town but we now have a solid group of regulars ordering macchiatos and piccolos! We are all pretty excited about it. I started working at Java in November and have made countless paninis while learning the science of espresso. We pull our shots on a three group semi-automatic Synesso. We brew 49th parallel's epic espresso as a regular and we have monthly features. Some have included Calgary's Fratello, San Fransisco Ritual single origin and Intelligentsia black cat. Intelligentsia has been my favorite thus far. We have also hosted a few cuppings which is nice because it gives all of the coffee enthusiasts in the town to build a palette for accents and hidden notes in the coffee they drink daily.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, ect.

About Me:

I am a beginner barista. After working at Java for a few months now I am beginning to serve drinks to customers and not just for practice and for other staff members. I am so lucky that I am getting my barista training from a group of people who genuinely love what they are doing and are incredibly knowledgeable. Double rosetta here I come!
