about me and my company: started red espresso 5 years ago with a small team of family and friends. red espresso has won 5 national and international awards for product innovation, including SCAA best new product -specialty beverage 2008 - of which i was the head barista at the show. i look after new product development and one of the most interesting things ive learnt is the effect of preinfusion and its impact on coffee extraction, and then relating that back to tea red espresso (the company) is now recently the exlusive importer of the Mypressi TWIST in Southern Africa and we are currently launching it into key outlets. I will be a Judge for the upcoming regional barista champs in the beginning of October
