Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I'm currently working as a barista in an independent coffee house that uses traditional barista skills. I previously owned my own espresso drive thru stand untill I lost the lease on the dirt. There I also used traditional barista skills also. I am currently persueing trying to own my own espresso business again. Probably very small, concentrating mainly on coffee. I have considered the idea of being a trainer or consultant if I can't get my own place going this year. I love the coffee business and would love to see everyone improve so there wouldn't be so much bad coffee being served. I think if the industry in general improved it would help everyone.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Of course, I would love to visit Italy and my heritage is Finland (the largest coffee drinking country, per capita).
About Me:
I'm a total coffee lover. I want to constantly learn more and share the knowledge. I want to spend my spare time in other coffee houses anywhere I can. I look at outside appearance, inside, service, dress, cleanliness, knowledge, decor, etc., etc., etc. I also love nature - the water, trees, flowers animals. I'm a content person and just really enjoy simple pleasures.
About My Company:
When I had my stand, my intent was to serve the best espresso around and teach the public why it was so good and what they should expect anywhere they go and not settle for less. We developed a great reputation and following for a small business. Hopefully I can continue on.
