My new home grinder, a modded Super Jolly with Robur funnel, shortened mini hopper and Dick Smith on/off switch.
The motor is covered with a foil coffee bean label and fork removed.
I purchased this grinder with 830grams of ground coffee inside its body.

Hi Jay, here's a picture. I'd never seen this happen before, so imagine my face when this when this giant landslide of coffee came gushing out.
I believe it had gotten in over a long period of time via a slight gap between the doser and body, as it was just slightly loose when it arrived.
So surprised the motor wasn't completely f--ked, only the timer was knackered.
Haha! Reminds me of the time in 2005 when we were prepping a used grinder being loaned to Norwegian barista champion Gunnhilde Seljenes. As we were opening the bottom plate, a ton of ground coffee poured out of the chamber. I can only imagine what your experience must have been like!
