- About Me:
- I am currently Vice President of Operations for Paradise Roasters. I am mostly interested in the social and economic issues surrounding coffee, or any other product for that matter. My background is in Computer Science, so working with Paradise has kept me involved heavily with web usability and search engine optimization. It also lends itself to developing technical processes. I'm interested in talking with anyone who wishes to develop a new brewing method that would be an open architecture - patented, but available for everyone's use... never to be sold to a proprietary holder (not that I'm pointing fingers :p). Heated coffee press anyone?

Lots of good places to eat in DC although I'm not too familiar with the Howard University area that much - don't get to that part of DC too often. Big Bear Cafe is a good spot not too far away. Casa Oaxaca is quite nice. Taqueria Nationale I hear good things about. We can chat in-depth about it when I'm in Minneapolis.
