- I stated working at starbucks in 07. This is when I really started to learn all the fine details it took to make a great cup of coffee. Prior to starting I had some basic knowledge of espresso based drinks. I was so excited the first time I got on the bar. I made a caramel macchiato, I had a bit of a hassle making the foam. I was so determine to get it right at every given chance I would jump on the bar. It helps to be a fast learner. Within a week i had the foam down pack. I take a lot of pride in making my drinks. Every cup was made to perfection no matter if I had a rush or it was on a downtime. I really enjoyed making samples because i got to show off my skills on making perfect drinks so matter the size. I also like making samples because it allow u to really connect and encourage the customers to find a new favorite drink.
- What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
- Being that my family is from Guyana, South America and I have only been once. I would really love to go back now that I'm older. I also would like to visit the many hidden islands and take in all the hidden wonders.
- About Me:
- I'm very down to earth and easy going. I love to laugh and tell jokes. I'm a happy person that gets along with everyone. I have yet to meet someone that can't connect with me.
- What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
- My favorite thing about the industry is all the different type of people you encounter over a cup of coffee.
