Profile Information

What is your position in the coffee industry?
barista, coffee enthusiast
Where are you located? ( City and Country )
Phiadelphia, PA
How many years have you been in the industry?
4
If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
yes
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I have taken multiple training labs gaining extensive knowledge of the art and science of multiple brew methods. I worked that mainly served hand pour, but also offered chemex and syphons. I can pour latte art and have run a few cuppings. Most importantly I absolutely LOVE making coffee.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I love to travel, so pretty much anywhere. I would especially love to revisit the west coast including but not limited to San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Portland, Eugene. I would love to visit Peru, Costa Rica, Guatemala, well pretty much ANYWHERE in Latin America. I am also very drawn to Ethiopia and Papua New Guinea. I would love to visit anywhere in Europe as well, especially the Netherlands, Denmark, the UK, and Sweden!
About Me:
I am a very creative and artistic person and strive to explore and absorb beauty even in the simple things that surround me everyday. That being said I love music (especially my vinyls), reading, painting, drawing, glass blowing, writing short stories, and surrounding myself with beautiful people who love and create. I love coffee and tea and could never lie without any of these things!
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
I love the kind of commuity the coffee industry offers that can't really be found elsewhere. I also love the fact that I am constantly learning and how much dedication goes into every cup. I am thrilled that there has been an increase in origin transparency which allows me as a barista to really know and understand where the coffee I am making comes from and who has helped me make each delicious cup.
