Is it a mystery?

Posted on April 11, 2009 at 1:27pm 3 Comments

Is it a mystery? How do I get a job at a coffee shop that's not Starbucks. I have worked for Starbucks years ago, and for Tully's Coffee as well. Obviously, this isn't what I want to do. But how do I get into a coffee shop where I will really learn how to be a barista? Just for an example, how does one work for Stumptown? Or any reputable cafe?
Thank guys

NIce. Are you available tomorrow or Saturday? Saturday would work best for me and I could train you outside of cafe hours....

Or you could just play music, declare yourself the winner, and ride off with a trophy. It would work out swimmingly!

Awesome! I'll try and see what I can work out. If all else fails, would you be interested in a training session outside of cafe hours?

Next time you're in Seattle, let me know. I could probably hook up a guest shift at my cafe. Depends when it is... But I'd love to make it happen.

I am going to have a Vancouver throwdown once a month for Vancouverites, so you'll have to share some of your skillz.
