About Me:

I only got into the roasting business a year ago, starting as a home roaster. Friends and neighbors loving our coffee, and everything just took off.
We're still very small (200# a month) but we just love everything about the business.
I had a 20 year career in management and field service end 3 years ago, and I haven't been this excited about work in many many many years.
I hope to make this my next 20 year career.

About My Company:

Mad Bean Coffee Roasters is myself and my Wife. We're a start up micro roaster. We never roast more than a pound at a time, never until it's ordered, and we sell ONLY Sumatra coffees, roasted and green.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

It's potential, being the second largest commodity in the world there's no limit and very little fear of the industry going belly up.
