Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I started my career in Seattle in the mid 80's as a Barista from there I worked as a service manager and technician and trainer in Seattle.I have been with my current employer for 17 years I currently teach classic Italian barista technique and recipes as well as technical and quality parameters and everything related to coffee.

Never thought I would make coffee my career but guess what here I am 24 years later Maybe it is the scandinavian heratige... I started drinking coffee at age 9 in 1972!!!. my mom made cafe aulait using a moka pot and a small enameled pitcher for the milk heated on the stove . this is where my love began... I love teaching and creating. although my job encompasses a wide variety of responsibilities, teaching Baristas and sharing my experiance and knowledge is where my heart is. I love that all these years later I continue to learn new and exciting things.
