It was great to finally meet you the other week! And a bonus to meet your wife as well! How're things going these days?
I lucked out this past trip and was able to go to *two* public cuppings during my layovers--one with Intelligentsia at their new NYC cupping and training lab and also one at Counter Culture Coffee in Durham, NC. FANTASTIC! it was great to finally see and participate in the whole process. And the bonus is that I'm doing the same trip again this week, so I will be able to go to the cupping at Counter Culture again. Their roasting facility and training facility is quite impressive...the entire company really wow'd me.
How's the job search? Keep me posted on what's happening in your world and let me know if you ever want to escape and talk coffee for awhile. Hope you're all well--stay in touch!

Nice to see someone else in the area with the same passion. Drop me a line sometime...we should talk! I've been planning/researching a roaster/retailing place for a couple of years now. Of course this economy isn't quite conducive for a new venture, but I'm still working on it! Would love to hear more about your ideas.
