Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I managed a two independent cafes in the West Village from 1999-2006. I am now putting together capital to open my own cafe.

I am looking for opportunities to work in various sectors of the coffee industry in the mean time, whether that be roasters, cafes, etc.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

I am looking to make a permanent move to Minneapolis, MN in the next 6-12 months, but in the interim i would be willing to travel to just about anywhwere.

About Me:

I am originally from the West Coast and after a career as a film/tv development exec I moved to NYC to pursue my own writing. To support myself I started as a barista and my own love of coffee set me on course to be running the two cafes (same owner) within a year. I also took on managing the adjacent BandB (again, same owner) until I left in 2006 to join a live event production company. I currently run the creative department, writing speeches, writing and producing promotional and tribute videos, designing and implementing marketing campaigns, all for non-profits. I still keep my hand in the coffee business through a number of friends who are involved in various ways.
