Yo man,
I saw you were interested in Costa Rican coffee.
Ifrit Coffee Works (located inside Coffee Groundz at 2503 Bagby St. in midtown) roasts, in my opinion, the best Costa Rican in the lone star state.
Jefferson Fan is the owner/roaster...if you're considering Costa Rican, go check him out and sample it, tell him I sent ya. He's kind of an underdog/stealthy roaster who's not in it for the fame or money. And history shows that underdogs prevail!
I go from New Jersey to Texas frequently, and leaving TX with a 5 pound bag of Costa Rican is always atop my list of to-dos.
