barista, manager, coffee enthusiast
Where are you located? ( City and Country )
Detroit Michigan

If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
maybe
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I work at an idependant bookstore/cafe in Northville Michigan located about thirty miles south west of Detroit. Our coffee comes from Great Lakes Coffee Company; which is a Michigan roaster located in northern Michigan. While using 100% Arabica beans Great Lakes offers an excellent cup of coffee. I've been a barista for a little under a year now... I'ts awesome! I love serving a quality product to our awesome guests on a daily basis.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I want to see every place I can. I pretty much dropped out of school to serve coffee and play music so any oppurtunity would be a great one.
About Me:
I am a 22 year old "ginger" from a city in western NY called Rochester(home of Eastman Kodak, Xerox, Ray-Ban eyewear and the Garbage Plate). I've recently withdrawn from College at the University at Buffalo to pursue a dream ie: play music and experience coffee in different environments from different roaster.
About My Company:
The Next Chapter Bookstore & Bistro is a classy mom and pop opperation. We serve a fantastic FTO product and are able to share our love for great beans and roasts with our guests. We've been here for about a month now so business is finaly begining to pick up and we couldn't be more pleased.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
How different beans take to different roasting styles and how much a roaster can really transform any roast into their own.

What? I didn't know you were into coffee! Next time you're in Rochester I'll have to show you our roastery and have you try our coffees
