Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

i work at One62 Coffee in Oroville, California. its a pretty chill place to hang out. We pride ourselves in having the best coffee and friendliest service in town.
i can make just about anything you ask for but unfortunatly i have been trained on an automatic machine, so unfortunatly i don't know how to work a "real" one. But that is why i was interested in the exchange. I love coffee and everything about it. i would love the oppurtuity to learn more about. i would like to one day own my own shop.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

Maybe Italy, or France; all of them really. Anywhere but the States, i love the idea of traveling. I was born and raised in Canada, and moved around quite a bit- moved to America with the fam when i was fifteen.

About Me:

i hate these questions! i never know what to say.
my first job ever was wiping asses in a nursing home, it was a decent job aside from that. my older sister worked in a coffee shop since i was 13 and i learned everything i know about coffee from her. its my passion and i love it! all my friend make fun of me becuase of it. i'm really actually kind of a geek- but i'm okay with that.
i just love my my job and i can't imagine doing anything else than what i'm doing now.

About My Company:

162 is in a town that has at least 6 other coffee shops, and we have had a rough road getting started and staying afloat. Since the current owner bought the place, though, we have more then doubled our business and are considered the best place in town. Eric has made a name for us three cities over. We all love what we do, but some of us tend to have a little more fun with it then the others. Its just a great upbeat, friendly little place. you should stop by some time- i know'll love it!

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

The People! i love the people who come in every single day-morning and night.
