Hello....
Can someone come up with a recipe of an over ice espresso concoct with green tea jelly?
What syrup flavors that is green in color you think can best enhance the drink? Or one flavor can be green in color combined with another flavor that is not green in color?

Most independent coffee…

Well, here it is. My first blog on BaristaExchange.
It's been an interesting month for this jobless barista. I quit my barista trainer/ barista job up here in Seattle at Trabant and have had a way tougher time trying to get another job than I initially anticipated. I'm making the assumption that I'm in a pretty awkward place in my life with coffee. I feel as if I'm someone who should be rocking some espresso bar at some cafe, settled in all nice and what not, slingin' spro everyday…

We are one day away from our trip to Cape Town, South Africa.
Unfortunately, my wife was deported back to South Africa in January of this year. She has our two year old boy while our six year old remained behind. I have been "minding the store" ever since. I feel like I have been amputated! She was the well oiled machine that ran the inner workings of our business. She was meticulous in her bookkeeping, inventory control and all that stuff for which I have very little patience nor talent.…
