Scott Conary has been invited back to Dubai to Train judges & act as Head Judge at the 2nd Annual United Arab Emirates Barista Championship.

In his capacity as a member of the World Barista Training Committee, he will spend 2 days before the competition training judges to prepare them to properly evaluate the 30 competitiors signed up for this event.

At the Specialty Coffee & Tea Convention November 10 - 12, 2009 | Dubai, UAE this exciting new exhibition, the three-day convention, will feature the 1st UAE Barista Championship and well-targeted educational sessions to help participants in the Arab region and beyond.

National Barista Championship In Nicaragua -

World Barista Certified (WBC) coffee professional Scott Conary served as a Head Judge at the World Competition on 4/16-19, at the World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA, during the Specialty Coffee Association of America’s (SCAA) Annual Convention; the largest gathering of coffee professionals in the U.S.

Scott just completed the World Barista Championship Judges Certification course/workshop over the past weekend in Long Beach, California.



Along with 3 other USBC Committee members (Lani Peterson, Holly Bastin & Rob Tuttle), he became 1 of only 12 judges that passed (7 from U.S.) and is now Certified to judge the World Barista Championship held this April 2009 in Atlanta, GA. Thirty judges participated in the two-day course and it was no easy task.
