You all know them but once again, imagine a firm with 3 coffee world champions, 2007 World Cup Tasting Champion Anette Moldvaer, 2007 World Barista Champion James Hoffmann and 2008 World Barista Champion Stephen Morrissey...dream firm! And guess what, i have their coffee to taste...
I know that some of you have tasted their coffee, im just afraid of opening the bags and start to enjoy. Is that normal?

well...im late due to my job..but here it is...i was tasting their winter blend roasted at 19.01., my date was 7 days after...when you look at their bag, at least me, i said; maybe im a champ in my country for 3y now, but i dont know much....my first words while opening the bag were; this is tokyo! (due to my wbc competing there and tasting so many diff but again the same fruity coffee blends). first espresso crema smells on heavy chocolate and hazelnuts, the first zip is amazing, i can taste green apple, this is not due to their writing on the bag what you are supposed to taste, its real and im melting...second sip is more to come, fruits and more fruits...balanced, sweet, ong long aftertaste...apple taste in espresso is for me a top in this blend. more about a blend; 40% finca san jose, nicaraqua, red catuai, 20% finca san jose, nicaraqua, escondida microselection, 20% el molino de santa rita, el salvador, orange bourbon, 10% finca san isidro, el salvador, pacamara, 10% muchoki estate, kenya, peaberry selection...
as i said so many times before, if was and tim wendelboe in that same firm with those great trio, i will close my caffe and quit being a barista cos that will be to much for me to handle with...

Relax. It is coffee. You can do it justice.

That said, I certainly feel an extra bit of pressure when I have a limited quantity something special to try. I almost never feel like I've truly done it justice. So yeah, not sure its normal to be nervous, but I've felt it too. Enjoy, and report back.

Please give us a cupping report once you finally open a bag! Anticipation of your comments is building this end. I have heard a lot of good things about Square Mile from people such as Hugo... really keen to hear your comments on the espresso blends
