Well, i don't think there's such a thing yet as "all solved", but they might just solve what can be solved given laws and regulations they have to abide by

Andrew,
This K10 is now in production and most of the issues outside the ones i wrote back on are solved. The fork has been solidified and the dosing activation button moved. The clumping has yet to be solved, though we do have direct connections with the guys at Compak and are trying to work out the kinks. The Mahlkonig has been retrofitted with a star shaped metal hole that has taken care of the clumping. I'm pretty sure that the significant drop in the metal cone on the Robur E also takes care of that clumping. I would almost like to have a k10 doser with a chute modification and a timer mod. I think that would be more accurate.

As for residual coffee, it probably has up to 2 grams of staling coffee in the chute. However, so do the k30 and the E. Unfortunately nsf regulations keep the burrs from being too close to the exit of the grinder which causes waste.

Andrew,
The rpm's are not an issue on the k10 doserless as of yet. However, we are having some clumping problems (soft clumping, not hard clumping) that has contributed to a messy and slightly inaccurate dosing issue.
