Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

We are just starting a new shop and a new business. WE are very excited about the prospects but a little tense as we have not done this before. WE have taken a couple of quick courses but hope to employ people who are experienced while we learn.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

Midwest would be the easiest but could do west coast as well.

About Me:

My husband and I are opening the shop but I will primarily be running the shop for the next two years until he retires from the airline industry. This shop is a long held dream and we will be working hard to make it a success.

About My Company:

The Mandolin Café is named after a shop that was located in Tacoma, WA. The original shop closed when the building was brought and landlord decided to use for different purposes. Both my husband and I spent many happy hours there and when the opportunity to open our own shop came up we decided to honor that shop by naming our shop after them.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

People and coffee!
