Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I started off at a Starbucks in 2007. I now work at a local independant university cafe as a lead. I'd like to do this professionally but I have a lot still to learn. Aside from the very basic of training I received in my time at Starbucks, and yet the more basic training I recieved at my current position. I'm currently trying to do as much research and reading on quality espresso and technique as possible, doing my best to learn until I can afford professional training.

About My Company:

Since I work at a university cafeteria, there are a couple food stations and a coffee station. I run the coffee station. Sadly the people in charge could care less about the quality of coffee, so it's up to me to try to make it the best it can possibly be.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
