Hi Leon,
I saw your thread and thought I'd send you a message. We are one of the sponsors of the site (look to the left :)) and have a great POS system for coffee. We handle retail as well and are familiar with collage locations. While not 100% in the cloud, we have an online cloud based backup that allows for the data to be secured offsite. The other advantage here is that it gives you the best of both worlds.
