I only recently completed the ABC School for Baristas. I am planing to open my own coffee shop within the next 12 to 16 months. My current skills are low but I am practicing.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
South American Cities/Countries. African Countries. Italian Countries.
About Me:
I am a licensed Clinical Therapist and a retired mother of four adult children and 5 grandchildren. My hobbies include coffee culture, hand crafts, music, swimming... I have concern for our planet and our people; all cultures.
About My Company:
My coffee house will likely be named Luci's but no name or logo has yet been selected. I intend to offer quality specialty coffees, teas, and light meals. I also intend to serve iced drinks and seasonal drinks.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The coffee, the people, the communication tie for first.

Hi Lucinda - welcome! I'm getting into this biz because of my love for coffee and the traditional "cafe culture" environment of coffeehouses. I fell in love with coffeehouses when I was in college and love the sidewalk cafés in France, Spain, etc. Just "dropping in" for a coffee and pastry is my idea of a good time... and I plan to bring that to my little town!
