still torn but getting better from all the water time therapy. let me know when you're not wearing your lab coat and earplugs so we can hook up and throw. someplace with a mound that way i can open it up a bit and see how it feels...then, more importantly, how long it takes to bounce back. if all good i'd probably be down for next year...as long as i can have a spot in the line-up, too. wurd

It would seem that Sam and Gavin both got hired at Stumptown. If I can find her number, I'll call Kristy (quit Z the same time as Cai) and see if she is still looking for a job.

I just received another order from Bodum with 2 more of the 1.5 litre stainless steel presses. I've also brought in a half dozen of the small preses in stainless for brweing Esmeralda and other great stuff. And I'll sell a couple. I only have contacts for Bodum in Canada but I can probably get you wholesale contacts for the states through my guy. Let me know if I can help.

...It makes coffee as good as the glass - maybe better because the s/s presses are double-walled and they keep the water warm while it's steeping the grounds. They're available in .35 litre, 1 litre and 1.5 litre.

you talking fine like espresso or fine like drip? I'm assuming drip cuz they're drip filters! Nevermind, answered my own stupid one, there. Again, your help is appreciated.
BTW: I see in your picture that you use the big glass Chambord presses...Have you looked into the stainless Columbia presses from Bodum? My staff was going through about 1 chambord glass per week so we went stainless steel and they have more than paid for themselves. Up here in BC they wholesale for about $65 for the 1.5 litre - or about double the cost of the Chambords. I really recommend them if you're pressing a lot.

Ciao!

Hey Dan...So with your dandelion thingy how do you grind and how much do you use for say a 12 ounce cup?
Thanks so much for your help on this!

all of our coffee uses the brew bar (unless it's for "coffee to go" in a big box and then we use a Fetco). it's pretty awesome and makes a great cup. some people don't get it though, and walk away without their coffee... then they complain that we didn't give it to them. ahh, the elderly.
