Becca, my first comment to you was not very clear. We roast our own here and are focusing on the commercial roasting side. I was wishing you the best if you pursue in house or shop roasting. I know you would love it. Roasting is just one more move closer to the source for me. I can't wait to visit the farms and coffee farmers.

You are so very welcome, in the time I was with Starbucks I received 2 barista awards in the same week by separate managers, just to say how serious I was(am) about my beans, there had been baristas there for over 5 and 10 yrs that never receive awards, just never be afraid to ask questions and learn, because ultimately it makes you better, surround yourself with the coffee pure n hearts and you will excel as coffee takes control of you, open your mind, be free, let the coffee move you!!!When you are ready to go out on your own you will know it, and will be a force to reckon with, we as Baristas must let our lite shine, Being a Barista in not a JOB, it's an HONOR, spread to Knowledge of Coffee, that the Bean may grow!!!!
