- Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
- I am currently helping out at Eugene Coffee Company and Gary's Coffee serving some tasty Stumptown coffees and keeping dialogue with baristas around Eugene. My initial interest for the industry was fueled by Stumptown when experiencing their training and roasting. It has become an obsession and a great thing to look forward to every morning!

- A reserved yet engaging individual with an obsession for music and coffee. I worked the music industry and found it draining to my creativity as an artist so I have decided to pursue coffee and use the experiences to fuel my artistry.

- Meeting so many different people, perfecting my technique, differentiating coffee flavors, learning how the industry works, making people smile

I just now saw your comment on my page from a while ago. I obviously haven't checked this in a while, sorry about that. I have been working with coffee farmers, mostly in Tanzania since the Fall of 2008. Other than a near fatal bout with cerebral malaria last Christmas, I have been spending time in Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Kenya and Ethiopia (where I am today). I am usually back in Portland around the holidays.
Hope you are doing well. I will be back in Portland for a couple weeks after the SCAA, toward the end of April.
